    Piratical Egg & Treasure Hunt
In typical pirate fashion, some of the eggs were completely hidden, and others were in plain sight, they were the usual sort of brightly colored plastic eggs. Some were filled with candy, others with treasure, others were filled with kitschy toys, and still others were filled with utterly random things, like cotton balls or glitter and, in a couple of cases, live frogs.

Jack grinned, making an expansive gesture with his arms, "Welcome one and all to what is certain to become a fantastic Easter tradition, and a well-liked one at least, a Pirate's Egg and Treasure Hunt, there's plenty for everyone, but that doesn't mean you can't hoard your own clutch. All we ask is that there's no bloodshed, it's all in good fun after all. Saying which, that's more than enough out of me isn't it? Have at!" He lowered his arms then, grinning and settling himself into one of the deck chairs to watch the chaos ensue.

The rest of the party was still going on inside

Pirate Easter Weekend Open House Free-For-All
If there was one thing to be said for Pirates, they certainly knew how to throw a party.

The almost-sprawling mansion was full of comfortable furniture, the kitchen was well stocked with snacks, and there were even refreshments (and more than enough to drink) set out on counters and side tables. There were a few sparse decorations, crepe paper streamers and a couple egg trees. Nothing much more than that, they were Pirates after all, not holiday decorators.

The patio was equally stuffed with furniture and snack tables, for those who wanted some of the lovely (wet) outdoors
The whole thing was comfortable, in any case, and welcoming, and the hosts were around, they usually were.

It was some time since Bill had apparently adopted Miniver, or at least offered the house as a convenient place to crash, should he need it, and Jack was perfectly fine with this, in fact, he found that he liked Miniver rather a lot, at least as much as most of the crew back on New Tortuga.

Mostly he was glad for the company, really, Bill and Scarecrow and the occasional phone call to Anne were all well and good, but Jack liked having an audience that hadn't heard his stories a million and a half times already.

Which was why he was talking while he made soup, well, heated a can of it for Miniver, that was about the extent of Jack's culinary expertise, "And that's why we sacked th'place without firin' a shot."
